Light leak

My faulty 55mm extension tube for the Hasseblad is causing a light leak. Last week, after posting some images, my dear reader doublewhirler commented that one of the pictures had an almost “religious” look caused by that very same light leak.

That comment made me think of a shot I toke on the 31st of December of 2011.

de certeza que este light leak é do tubo? parece ser da entrada da máscara, aparece sempre do lado esquerdo?

  2. That is a really good picture. It looks like a still photo from a western film.

    • Thank you and I think you got the idea, it’s a modern Calamity Jane 🙂

  3. I had the similar light leak on my Hasselblad 500 C/M. It was the seal for the dark slide of my film cassette. I took the film cassette to be repaired. I haven’t had a problem with light leaks since then.

    • That was exactly the problem my friend. All taken care of now.
But what amazed me was the positioning of the leak on that picture. Looks like it’s coming straight from the cross. 🙂
